Lodging in Silverton, Colorado
Known as the heart of the high country, Silverton has quite a few locally owned and operated lodging options. From the cozy bed and breakfast establishments overlooking the beautiful San Juan Mountains, to the rustic and adventurous camping areas, you have many options to choose from based on your individual needs and budget.
“Camping Hardrock” was introduced in 2022 as a free community option at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area in Silverton. There is room for 180 vehicles and tents (RVs/Sprinters/Trailers limited to 30), with pre-registration required. The Ski Lodge will be open for limited general use, including water, bathrooms and electricity. In 2024, the space will be shared with aid station prep, so expect access to kitchen/dining areas to be severely limited. Registration will open on or around Memorial Day each year. 2024 REGISTRATION.
